Juliette was filled with a mixture of emotions. So many things had happened in the past month but two things were stuck in her head forever. First her father was badly injured while saving her cousin and good friend Ethan Potter. She had been the captain for the quidditch team during his absence and still now since he was hurt though now she didn’t know how long she would be able to keep that. Juliette had a secret now that she dared never tell anyone. She knew she would have to soon but she didn’t want to. She especially didn’t want to tell her father because he would tell her that he told her so and that she should have listened to him. She was not looking forward to that at all. She stayed in her father’s room when the Claire lady who they were staying with wasn’t in there. She didn’t want it to be awkward between them both because of all the fights that Juliette had been having with Sirius before all this. Claire was his best friend or something at least that was how he explained it to Juliette, and was letting him live there after everything that happened with his wife and now Juliette living there. She didn’t want to live there though she rather be on her own but apparently that wasn’t going to happen. Right now Juliette had the ear buds to her headphones in her ears. It was connected to her IPod that her mother had gotten her a couple Christmas ago. Music played through them and into her ears as she sat in a chair beside Sirius bed. One hand was holding the IPod and the other was resting on her stomach. She had avoided being in here when her father was awake but she knew her luck would run out soon. She didn’t want to tell him that she was pregnant. Hell she didn’t want to be pregnant. She was a couple weeks pregnant right now the healer had just told her today. Juliette didn’t want to be in this position right now. Tears fell down her cheeks as she thought about the baby and the father of the baby. She hadn’t even told Blaine that she was pregnant. She was afraid to tell anyone and she knew once she told someone it would be true and right now she didn’t want that. It was a scary feeling and she didn’t think she was read for this responsibility at all. Juliette also didn’t want to admit it but she was worried about Sirius because well he was her father and he was hurt. She couldn’t show that she was worried because of all the fights they had and she told him that she didn’t want him in her life or that she cared about him. That wasn’t true now but she was pissed that he was being a hypocrite and being all you shouldn’t be sleeping around with random guys. She knew he was going to be okay now but she was still worried. She wiped her face and sat there wondering if she should leave now before he had the chance to wake up. Tagged: James Sirius Potter

It had been only a day and a half since they had rescued Ethan and Sirius had woken up in a room in St. Mungo's for what had felt like the millionth time in his life. He had practically begged the healers yesterday to just let him go home, but to no avail. He was stuck there for three days minimum. The longest three days he would experience for quite a while he was sure, but hell, after the months he had spent there at a time previously, he supposed he could handle three days. It just felt like cruel and unusual punishment to leave him there, it's not like he had tried to get himself hurt after all. It just seemed to happen to him, bad luck like that just seemed to follow him around like a little black rain cloud.
Claire had been there most of the time, but she would have to leave and pop into work for a bit here, check on Albus and Ethan for a bit there, usually while he was sleeping though. Two hours ago she had said good bye again as the medications started taking him over again into a sleep induced coma, telling him that she would be at the office, she would be right back if he needed anything. Shortly after that he felt his heavy eyelid's close and before he knew what happened he was asleep again. But hey, sleep was better than awake and hurting, right?
At least that's what he thought until his old nightmare's started playing through his head... Horror's of the past played his memory like a movie screen and soon enough he was grumbling in his sleep, but little did he know his fifteen year old daughter, Juliette was in the room. Shortly after his mutterings, the tossing and turning commenced as it always did when a night terror happened like this, but the moment he tried to toss to the right, he felt the strain on that entire side of his body, his back, his ribs and his leg most of all as he rolled that way and waking up was almost instant. A cold sweat and panic hit him only for a moment as he groaned rather loudly in pain and let himself roll gently to his back once again.
Breathing heavy, he sighed and lifted a tired and sore arm bringing his hand to his face, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. It had been months and months since he could remember having a nightmare like that... Since he had first moved to Claire's actually. Something about being there, made sleep easier for him. Sirius blinked a couple times before looking around the room, assuming he would find himself as alone as when he fell asleep. But his eyes fell on Juliette, which he had not been expecting. Had she seen his little panic attack? Heard the pained gasp as he turned the wrong way and woke up? What was she even doing here, because that in itself was something Sirius had never expected. Still drowsy from his sleep, he simply gave her a tired and confused look as he rubbed his eyes again, words escaping him for the moment.

Juliette didn’t even know why she was there. At least that is what she would tell others out loud if they ever caught her in the room. She pretended like she didn’t care about the man in the bed, like she wanted nothing to do with him. That was the complete opposite of how she was feeling though. She wanted to get to know the man that was her father. After he had first told her yes she was mad. Yes she wanted to scream and yell and wondered why he never showed up before, why he didn’t stay with them. He explained to her that he didn’t even know that her mother had been pregnant and had he known he would have been there for Juliette. She believed him but she didn’t act like she did. That was why she was now sitting beside his bed crying her eyes out. She didn’t want to lose the chance she had with him. She had been so stupid before to act like the brat she had. Her mother had raised her better than that. Now she also had to tell her father who she had only known for a couple months or so that she was a couple months pregnant. If this didn’t kill him the news would surely give the man a heart attack. He acted like her cared about her and she just didn’t want to disappoint the man. What if she told him and he didn’t want her anymore? What if he threw her out because of this? She didn’t know him that well so she didn’t know what he would do to her? The ideas started to scare her and she didn’t know if she wanted to tell him now. She didn’t want to lose him now but he would find out one way or another. She heard a noise and looked up to see that it was Sirius. She frowned watching the man have a nightmare or something. She didn’t know exactly but she hoped he was okay. Soon he was tossing back and forth and soon he woke with a gasp, like he was in pain. He must have rolled onto his hurt side by accident. She bit her lower lip hoping he would just go back to sleep. He didn’t though as he looked her way. She sighed as he gave her a tired and confusing look. She wasn’t ready to tell him right now. She didn’t want him to be awake. She wanted him asleep so he could throw thoughts around in her head some more about how to tell him or how to keep it a secret from him. She had to say something soon though because he was looking at her and he was now awake. He was probably wondering what she was doing there because of how she had been acting lately. Hey she said. That was all she could manage right now. She knew she should say something more but she just couldn’t right now. She had to get her thoughts straight. Tagged: James Sirius Potter

The abrubt end to his nightmare left him just as tired as when he had gone to sleep, and maybe more sore. But that was not what he was concerned about right now. Foremost in his conscious thought right now was that his daughter Juliette, whom he had only known for a short time now, was sitting in the chair next to his bed. Not Claire, who had been there every time before when he had woken up. Though this was a rather happily welcomed surprise for him, he didn't quite understand it. Every time they spoke, she tried her best to ignore him, his suggestions and basically just rebel against his attempts at being a father to her. Right now, he figured he was the last person she wanted to see, but yet there she sat.
Her eyes were glazed over with tears, she had obviously been crying. Sirius looked at her completely dumbfounded for a long moment before she finally spoke, but the only word she said was a simple, "Hey." At this Sirius was unable to do anything but smile, even that simple one word, was enough to make him happy right now. She had done nothing but push him away ever since they met. For her to be here right now, even as silent as she was being, meant so much to him.
When he had met Juliette, and found out she was his daughter from a one night stand so many years ago, he had felt something he hadn't in a long time. Even though he had never met her before now, there was no denying she was his daughter, everything down to her attitude was down right like him. He had felt the love a father has for his daughter, something he had been lacking since his oldest daughters had been killed. But when Juliette pushed him away like she did, it had hurt. He had never meant to hurt her from the beginning, but she wasn't even willing to give him a chance. Right now, he started to feel like he might get that chance back. Like maybe, she didn't hate him just as much as she said.
Another long moment after she spoke, he rubbed the sleep from his eyes and leaned back on the pillows, but sat where he could face her. "Hey," he said with a tired smile, which quickly turned into a grin. "I absolutely love this surprise visit, but whats the occasion?"

She didn’t know why she was even here. She should have nothing to do with this man, but yet he was her father. He had not known about her before and maybe he would have been kind to her and wanted to be a part of her life. He claimed that anyway. Maybe she had been too much of a brat to him, but he wasn’t her mother. He wasn’t the person she wanted to be with. She wanted her mother back more than anything. It was killing her inside to know she will never see her again. She couldn’t even bury her, there was just nothing left. She still had the nightmares of that night. She figured Sirius was having them as well, and probably other nights. Ethan had just been taken and her father saved him. Ethan was one of her best friends, and that was before finding out that they were actually cousins. She twirled a piece of her hair around a finger as Sirius smiled at her. He told her that he loved the visit but asked why. She could understand that after all the hell she had been giving them. She had no idea how daughters were supposed to act around their fathers. She wasn’t good at this. She bit her lower lip then looked back at him. I…I was scared and…I missed you I guess I was worried she said slowly. She looked down at her stomach and rubbed it. She knew she was going to have to tell him. I’m pregnant she blurted out. Tagged: James Sirius Potter
